She also serves tantalizing baked goods during our on-site courses and workshops. Clients elsewhere are invited to work with us remotely over the Internet. These easily scheduled - and often "just in time" - remote sessions have a reduced hourly rate, thus providing the additional benefit of cost savings.

Guide on the Side, Michael Laurence, has 47 years of both formal teaching experience and working with computers. Formerly a naval flight officer, upon completion of his military service he returned to work in higher education. In 2009 Michael retired from Brock University where, in addition to teaching, he was the Educational Technology Consultant. This position involved helping faculty, staff and graduate students to advance their information technology literacy; as well he researched online learning methods, and managed his university's remote collaboration solutions (video and data conferencing) to enable collaborations worldwide.
